Satellite Sensor Data Availability Tables

Spaceborne Remote Sensing Systems

This table was constructed for the assessment of space-based remote-sensing platforms as potential data sources for the RAC users. The purpose of this table is to better understand what current and future remote sensing data sources may be useful and realistically accessible by an RAC. This knowledge will be used to put current and future RAC data collection and application development efforts on course. The goal of this table IS NOT to act as an exhaustive list of available remote sensing systems.

These tables were evaluated and a small number of high priority sensors were established. These sensors are important to achieving Code 935 RAC application goals, and will not be the same for all RAC's. The entire Spaceborne Remote Sensing System table has therefore been provided as a tool for other RAC's.

Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Systems

This table was constructed for the assessment of space-based and available aircraft remote-sensing hyperspectral platforms as potential data sources for the RAC users. The purpose of this table is to better understand what current and future hyperspectral remote sensing data sources may be useful and realistically accessible by an RAC. This knowledge will be used to put current and future RAC data collection and application development efforts on course. The goal of this table IS NOT to act as an exhaustive list of available hyperspectral sensing systems.

These tables were evaluated and a small number of high priority sensors were established. These sensors are important to achieving Code 935 RAC application goals, and will not be the same for all RAC's. The entire Hyperspectral Remote Sensing System table has therefore been provided as a tool for other RAC's.

Download Excel Tables

If you would prefer to view the sensor tables locally you can download the original EXCEL files for each table. These tables were developed in EXCEL 98, so you will need equivalent software to view them after download.
